Fraser Rise sits in the City of Melton, roughly 25 kilometres northwest of the CBD, between Caroline Springs and Rockbank. It's one of the newest suburbs in Melbourne — formally established only in recent years — and it's still being built out, along with neighbouring Deanside, Aintree and Springside West.
New estates come with a specific transport headache: the roads change faster than the maps. Streets appear before navigation apps know about them, estate entrances move as construction shifts, and a driver who doesn't work the area regularly can spend fifteen minutes circling.
